This explains what happens to your information when you visit woem.health or get in touch with us. It is deliberately short, because there is not much to tell.
If you are taking part in one of our coaching programmes, you also receive a separate notice covering that. This page is about the website.
Who is responsible

We are the controller of the information described below.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us. Your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write to us. We only ask for what we need to reply, so please do not include anything sensitive in a first message.
When you browse the site. Our website runs on Squarespace, which sets cookies to make the site work and, if you agree, to tell us in aggregate which pages people visit. We do not build profiles, we do not run advertising, and we do not track you across other websites.
That is the whole list. We have no newsletter, no account logins and no online payments.
Why we are allowed to
We use your contact details to answer you and, if it goes further, to discuss working together. That is either a step towards a contract at your request, or our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch.
Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them. You can decline, and the site works the same.
Who else sees it
Squarespace, who host the website and handle the contact form, acting on our instructions. Our email provider, for the same reason. Both are bound to keep the information confidential and to use it only for us.
Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law obliges us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work: twelve months, then deleted.
Client records, contracts and invoices: six years, which is what Spanish commercial law requires.
Analytics: aggregated and no longer identifies anyone.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email hello@woem.health and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
Cookies
The site sets a small number of cookies. Some are necessary for it to function and cannot be switched off. Others measure how the site is used and are only set if you accept them.
You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
